Komarla Group is a well-known name in South India. The group was started by our founder late Mr. Komarla Ganga Setty. Starting as, Sri Balakrishna Flour Mills in 1922 the group has over the years strategically transformed itself into an integrated poultry company.
Komarla Group comprises of proficient and diverse workforce. The workforce includes a variety of profiles ranging from international doctorate degree holders to MBA's to village farmers. All of them united by the ethics and ideology of the group.
In this professional atmosphere, doctors, nutritionists, MBA's and graduates, come together to work with customers, suppliers and consultants while to give each of our stakeholders the best.

About Our Chairman :
Mr. K.G.Subbarama Setty, is a graduate in B.Sc textiles. He has held several senior executive positions in multiple organizations. He was the former president of Karnataka roller flour mills association and was an active member for 20 years between 1969 & 1988. He served as the President of Roller Flour Mills Federation of India, New Delhi. He was the president of Federation of Karnataka Chambers Of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) in 1974 representing the business and industry fraternity. Mr. K.G. Subbarama Setty took over the family business from his father Mr. Komarla Ganga Setty in the year 1951 and had been instrumental in expanding and modernizing the flourmill with latest technologies. He is an ex- senate member of the Bangalore University. He has constantly served the community by holding positions as president, treasurer, secretary and trustee, of several non-profit organizations. He is the guiding force of the group.
About Our Managing Director :
Mr. K S Akhilesh Babu, is a graduate in science and a diploma holder in business administration and has about 35 years of experience in the poultry sector. A certified miller from Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, he brings in rich experience, intuition, and balanced approach to the management of the group. He has been the secretary and trustee of various social, cultural and charitable organizations and has traveled extensively across India and abroad.
